Financial Services Representative - CIBC, Stettler, AB

About the Role

As a Financial Services Representative at CIBC in Stettler, AB, you'll be a vital member of the Personal and Business Banking team. This role is about building a relationship-oriented bank, focusing on doing what’s right for our clients. You will make a meaningful difference by understanding their financial and personal goals, providing tailored service, and recommending the right banking products and solutions to support their financial success. This full-time, on-site position requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and potentially at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will engage directly with clients, leveraging your expertise to meet their diverse financial needs. Your daily activities will focus on:

• Meeting with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advising them on solutions, and providing a forward-looking financial plan.
• Using your knowledge of cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals.
• Engaging in marketing and outreach activities to show clients you value them and their communities.
• Growing your network, deepening existing relationships, and working as one team to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
• Becoming a technology expert and sharing your knowledge by introducing clients to our mobile banking applications, helping them to better manage their banking needs.

Skills and Experience

To succeed as a Financial Services Representative, you will need a combination of professional qualifications and a client-focused mindset. CIBC is looking for individuals who can demonstrate a commitment to service and results.

• Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
• Demonstrated 1 year experience in working with clients and achieving sales results.
• Prior banking experience in a similar capacity is considered an asset.
