The Beaver Board (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates thebeaverboard.ca. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our site and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. Collected automatically via server logs, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity (session recordings and heatmaps).
- Search queries — the job searches you perform on our site, used to improve search results and understand demand.
- Cookies — we use essential cookies (e.g. consent preference) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). We may also use advertising cookies if Google AdSense is enabled. See “Cookies” and “Advertising” below.
We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information through the site unless you contact us directly.

Data retention
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months). Cookie preferences are stored locally in your browser for up to 365 days.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA (Canada) and Quebec Law 25, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, email bojan@kodawarians.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We will respond within 30 days.
