What you'll do

As a Sessional Lecturer for MAT136H5S LEC103 Integral Calculus at the University of Toronto Mississauga, you will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive university credit course to an estimated 140 students. This role encompasses all facets of course management and instruction, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. The course covers antiderivatives, definite integrals, integration techniques, infinite sequences, series, and various applications from the sciences.

  • Planning lectures, tutorials, assignments, and tests, including marking schemes.
  • Providing appropriate contact time to students outside of class, through office hours and emails.
  • Invigilating the final exam.
  • Managing and submitting final course grades.
  • Dealing with student petitions and, if required, setting and grading a make-up exam.

What you'll bring
