Role Overview

DashMart represents a unique retail concept by DoorDash, where customers conveniently place orders for various convenience items through the DoorDash app. This role is integral to the operation of these brick-and-mortar convenience stores, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and Dashers.

As a DashMart Team Member, you will be at the heart of fulfilling customer orders. This involves efficiently picking and packing items within the warehouse, managing inventory, and maintaining an organised workspace, all while contributing to a positive customer experience for DoorDash users.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders that come through the DoorDash app.
• Packing completed orders and handing them off to our drivers.
• Managing inventory, including stocking receivables and monitoring shelf life.
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Delighting customers by ensuring substitutions are approved with them.

Who We're Looking For

DoorDash is seeking self-motivated and positive individuals who thrive in a team environment. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in a retail setting and be comfortable with the physical demands of a warehouse role, contributing to the efficiency of our DashMart employees.

• You’re self-motivated, positive, and a team player.
• You have a proven track record of success in a retail environment.
• You’re able to be on your feet and handle warehouse duties including lifting up to 40 pounds (with or without accommodations).
• You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

What's On Offer

DoorDash offers competitive pay for its DashMart Team Members, with a base rate of $18.45 CAD per hour. For employees working overnight shifts between 10pm and 6am, there's an additional $2 increase in pay.
