About the Role

DashMart is a unique convenience store experience, powered by DoorDash technology, where customers order items through the DoorDash app. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling these orders, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and drivers alike.

This role involves working in a real, brick-and-mortar store environment, handling a diverse range of products from everyday essentials to specialty artisanal food items. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the store, supporting local economies by partnering with both well-known brands and local craftspeople.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and Packing orders: Accurately pick items that come through the app, carefully pack the order, and efficiently hand it off to our DoorDash drivers.
• Inventory and Spoilage Management: Responsibly stock receivables, manage inventory levels, and monitor product shelf life to ensure freshness and availability.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, contributing to operational efficiency and safety.
• Delight Customers: Ensure customer satisfaction by confirming substitutions are approved with the customer before order completion.

Qualifications

We are looking for dedicated individuals who are eager to contribute to a growing team and help build this innovative business model. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

• You are self-motivated, positive, and a collaborative team player.
• You have a proven track record of success in a retail environment, demonstrating strong customer service and operational skills.
• You are able to be on your feet for extended periods and handle various warehouse duties, including lifting up to 40 pounds (with or without accommodations).
• You possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Compensation and Perks

DoorDash values its employees and offers competitive pay, with a base rate of $18.65 CAD per hour. Employees working overnight shifts (10pm-6am) will receive an additional $2 increase in pay. Your actual compensation will be determined by factors including skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
