Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Cashier at Sobeys, your daily focus will involve a variety of tasks crucial to our front-end operations, ensuring our customers receive the best service. You will be instrumental in the smooth process of customer transactions and maintaining an organised service area.

• Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures
• Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards
• Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required
