What You'll Do

As a Billing Associate, your responsibilities will be central to the financial health of projects at Irving Equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing and financial reporting, managing various aspects of project finances.

• Review and approve sales orders, generate billing schedules, and prepare weekly invoices.
• Create vendor purchase orders and process receiving documents.
• Prepare month-end working papers to support financial statement balances, including revenue accruals and margin analysis.
• Process daily payroll for hourly employees, ensuring alignment with union agreements.
• Handle other accounting requests as required to maintain smooth financial operations.

Requirements

To meet the demands of this vital administration role, candidates should possess a solid foundation in finance or a related discipline, coupled with practical experience and strong computer skills.

• Post-secondary education in a related discipline, Trade Certification, or College Diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related financial field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite computer skills.
