As a Store Lead at Arc'teryx, you will be a vital member of the store leadership team, collaborating closely with the Assistant and Store Manager. This role is central to guiding a talented group of Product Guides and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. What You'll Do
In this dynamic Store Lead role, you will be at the forefront of the Arc'teryx retail environment, ensuring operations run smoothly and the team delivers a world-class experience. Your responsibilities will span across leadership, guest engagement, product knowledge, and operational excellence, directly impacting the store's success and community connection. You will lead from the floor, championing exceptional service and supporting the team five days of the week.
- Lead in alignment with the Arc’teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values.
- Support the entire in-store experience during your shift, maintaining acute awareness of the sales floor.
- Support product guides in delivering a world-class guest experience through authentically sharing technical product knowledge.
- Champion floor leadership and exceptional guest experience by leading from the floor five days of the week.
- Support the oversight and leadership of the floor, encompassing the five pillars of the business: experience, product, community, operations, and people.
- Build community by actively sharing brand information and event specifics with the team and guests, ensuring each individual feels invited to join.
- Coach and provide feedback to product guides to unlock their potential and support the store in reaching targets.
- Support inventory management throughout the day to maximize sell-through, including receiving, processing, restocking, destocking, and visual merchandising.
- Communicate all company initiatives, policies, and priorities to the team in collaboration with, or as required by, the Store Manager.
- Leverage all necessary tools to manage the store business operations, overseeing sales targets, labour, and budget management.
- Network with potential partners to support events and help maximize brand engagement in the community.
- Manage the opening and closing procedures for the store, as designed by the company and leadership team.
- Answer store phones and respond to voicemails and store emails; on occasion, this could include responding on the Regional social media channels.
- Rotate through areas of focus to deep dive into each of the five pillars of the business.
- Utilize the Point of Sale system to accurately and efficiently process guest transactions, including warranties, Used Gear trade-ins, purchases, and returns.
- Be fully accountable for and oversee the execution of all deliverables on the Store Lead Role and Responsibilities document.
- Perform the role responsibilities of the Product Guide as needed.
- Under the direction of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, perform/complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request.
