Key Responsibilities

You will coordinate and schedule the movement of trucks and drivers to ensure timely deliveries. This role involves communicating with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and real-time support. You will monitor and track truck locations and shipment statuses, addressing any delays or issues that arise. Collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal teams is crucial to optimize logistics operations. Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and documenting communications are also key duties. You will respond to and resolve emergencies, accidents, or incidents during shifts. Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies is paramount. Additionally, you will support drivers with route planning, fuelling, and other logistical needs.

Candidates should have post-secondary education; a focus in supply chain or logistics is considered an asset. You will demonstrate the ability to analyse complex situations and develop effective solutions. We are looking for a strong team player who is comfortable working independently or with others, and who easily adjusts to different work styles and environments. Flexibility and agility in a fast-paced environment are essential. You must possess the ability to think critically and adapt strategies to achieve results. Excellent communication skills are required for effective stakeholder engagement. Availability to work night shifts is also a necessary requirement for this position.
