This position involves physical duties, including lifting cases of various sizes and weights up to 40 lbs (18 kg) repeatedly while standing for extended periods throughout the day.

Candidate Profile and Essential Availability

To thrive in this customer-focused role, you must be comfortable interacting with both teammates and customers, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada, possessing a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit, and be at least 18 years of age. While not mandatory, bilingualism in English and French is considered a valuable asset. Successful candidates will also need to complete a Criminal Background Check at their own expense before commencing employment with the LCBO.

A critical aspect of this position is your availability, especially during peak retail periods. You must be available to work on Fridays from 5:00 PM until close, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays for shifts ranging from four to eight hours. Additionally, availability is required for specific long weekends, including Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day weekends. While these are the core requirements, there may be opportunities for additional work during the week, from Monday to Thursday, based on the store's operational needs. Schedules are typically posted two weeks in advance, though extra shifts may arise on short notice. This role offers a competitive wage of $20.82 per hour.
