Key Responsibilities and Required Experience

As a Learning and Talent Development Consultant, your key responsibilities will include partnering with various stakeholders to identify learning and performance needs, then recommending appropriate solutions. You will collaborate with internal clients and external vendors to design, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive learning and talent development programs, always adhering to adult learning principles and best practices. A significant part of this role involves facilitating instructor-led and virtual learning experiences, including vital onboarding, leadership development, and career development programs. Furthermore, you will administer learning programs efficiently within Workday Learning, managing course creation, program campaigns, learner assignments, and completion tracking. Generating and analyzing learning data and reports using Workday, Excel, and other tools will be essential for informed decision-making and continuous improvement of all learning initiatives.

Candidates must possess post-secondary education in Adult Education, Learning and Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs in a corporate environment is essential. This includes proven experience consulting with leaders and stakeholders to identify specific learning needs and recommend effective solutions. Strong experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual learning programs for diverse audiences is also required. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, alongside a working knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and program evaluation practices. Experience administering a Learning Management System, preferably Workday Learning, is highly valued, as are strong Excel and reporting skills for data analysis, including pivot tables and lookups.
