Responsibilities
As a Civil Technologist with WSP, you will step into your early career with confidence, gaining hands-on experience supporting vital municipal engineering and land development projects. Your work will directly contribute to infrastructure initiatives that shape communities, all while learning alongside experienced engineers and project managers. This role offers a strong foundation for your career in civil engineering.
- Support the preparation of AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings for municipal and land development projects
- Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and technical specifications for tender and construction
- Participate in field inspections to confirm design conformance and support construction activities
- Assist with surveying tasks, including topographic surveys, under guidance from senior staff
- Support contract administration activities, including shop drawing reviews and record drawings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs come together smoothly

- Willingness to learn OPSS, OPSD, and municipal design standards
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
