As a Boom Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include the safe and efficient delivery of various building materials, such as windows, doors, cement, and shingles, to both private residences and active construction sites. Operating the specialized boom mechanism with precision is a key aspect of this role, alongside the loading and unloading of product, ensuring all materials are handled with care. You will be instrumental in preparing trucks for dispatch, conducting thorough pre-trip inspections, and diligently monitoring truck maintenance to guarantee operational safety. Maintaining accurate driver’s records requirements, including daily checklists, is essential for compliance and smooth operations. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to verifying load security and accuracy before every journey. Effective communication with dispatch is crucial for resolving any issues promptly, reinforcing our commitment to reliable service for our customers.

The ideal candidate for this Boom Truck Driver position will possess 1-3 years of proven experience as a Class 3 Boom Truck Operator. A valid Class 3 driver's licence with an air brake endorsement and proficiency in manual transmission are fundamental requirements for this role. Candidates must demonstrate the physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and be prepared to work in all weather conditions within a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. The ability to adapt to varying start times and work shifts of up to 12 hours is also necessary.
