The successful candidate will work closely with underwriting, reinsurance, actuary, and senior leadership to develop and implement effective claim strategies, ensuring optimal outcomes. This position also contributes significantly to the evolution of claims capabilities, supporting growth in new markets and specialty lines of business, while providing ongoing mentoring and technical guidance to foster team development within the claims department. Key Responsibilities and Strategic Claim Resolution

As a Senior Specialist, you will manage a pending of complex Commercial General Liability claims, addressing intricate coverage concerns. Your responsibilities include directly investigating each GL and ABI claim through prompt and strategically appropriate contact with all relevant parties, such as policyholders, claimants, and technical experts, to determine liability and damages. This involves interviewing witnesses, taking necessary statements, and conducting outside investigations as required by case specifics. You will actively engage in selecting and directing appropriate internal and external resources for effective claim evaluation, verifying the nature and extent of injury or damage through record review. Maintaining accurate GL and ABI claim files, documenting activities, and utilizing diary management systems are essential for timely handling. Furthermore, you will establish and maintain proper indemnity and expense reserves, recommend cases for roundtable discussions, and develop creative resolution strategies. This includes negotiating the disposition of GL and ABI claims with insureds or their legal representatives, managing litigated claims, and applying litigation management through counsel selection and strategy direction. Qualifications and Professional Experience
