As a Senior Producer, Hockey, you will be a key member of the Sportsnet Hockey Production Leadership team. Working alongside the Executive Producer, you will shape the vision, set expectations, and deliver Sportsnet’s hockey strategy for both studio and remote productions. This senior role demands a strong leader who communicates clearly, creates a collaborative environment, and possesses deep TV broadcast and hockey editorial knowledge, including a passion for the NHL. You will lead by example, work independently and within a team, and manage expectations while understanding the importance of great storytelling.

What You'll Do
As the Senior Producer, Hockey, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and execution of compelling hockey content. Your responsibilities will span daily programming, specialty events, and ensuring editorial and technical excellence across all productions.
- In tandem with the NHL Executive Producer, create, plan and execute on hockey content and programming. Deliverables include: Daily Hockey Central program, specialty events including NHL Trade Deadline, NHL Signing Season, NHL Draft, select remote productions and 3rd party partnerships.
- Senior editorial lead inside and outside the control room. Ensuring both production and technical crews understand the vision, philosophy and expectations.
- Scheduling and management of hockey staff including Iso Directors, Associate Producers and Font AD’s.
- Lead focussed and informative editorial and technical meetings with producers, on-air talent and support staff.
- Attend frequent meetings with other departments within Rogers Sports & Media focussed on shared hockey goals.
- Ensure delivery of all sales and sponsorship items within hockey programming.
