job description

Role Overview

Hootsuite is seeking a Senior Global Demand Generation Manager to lead the strategy and execution of integrated programs designed to create, accelerate, and convert market demand into a qualified sales pipeline. This pivotal, hands-on senior role reports to the Senior Director, Enterprise Acceleration, and will operate across North America, EMEA, and Emerging Markets, with tailored approaches for both Mid-Market and Enterprise audiences. A key focus will be on partner-led demand generation, leveraging Hootsuite’s strategic partners and ISV Suite ecosystem to drive growth. This position requires a holistic understanding of how targeting, messaging, channels, sales activation, partner motions, and measurement converge to build a robust pipeline.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Senior Global Demand Generation Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping Hootsuite's growth trajectory by developing and executing sophisticated demand generation programs. Your daily activities will involve a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring alignment with regional, segment, product, and revenue priorities. You will be responsible for balancing new demand creation with pipeline acceleration and account progression, continuously seeking opportunities to improve conversion and velocity.

  • Develop and execute integrated demand generation programs aligned to regional, segment, product, and revenue priorities, building distinct demand motions for Enterprise and Mid-Market audiences and translating business goals and audience insights into coordinated programs across paid media, SEM, email, webinars, content syndication, and partner channels, managing each from strategy through activation, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Balance new demand creation with pipeline acceleration, account progression, and re-engagement opportunities, identifying gaps in funnel progression and building programs to improve conversion, velocity, and pipeline movement.
  • Use intent, engagement, product, partner, and account-level signals to identify where demand is emerging and where marketing intervention can have the greatest impact, applying platforms such as 6sense or equivalent technologies to improve account prioritization, campaign activation, and coordination with Sales and BDR teams.
  • Evolve Hootsuite beyond a primarily form-fill-led demand model toward more proactive, signal-informed engagement, partnering with RevOps and Sales to improve how signals translate into clear action, routing, and follow-up.
  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, and Product Marketing to develop and expand Hootsuite's account-based marketing approach, supporting account selection, segmentation, buying-group strategy, campaign design, orchestration, and measurement.
  • Build and oversee practical, repeatable account-based programs that reflect the realities of Hootsuite's Enterprise sales motion, testing, learning, and scaling based on evidence rather than treating ABM as a standalone campaign or technology deployment.
  • Own demand generation execution for priority partner motions, including Hootsuite's strategic partnerships and growing ISV Suite ecosystem, developing joint campaigns that create value for shared audiences and contribute to measurable pipeline outcomes.
  • Oversee co-branded content, campaign activation, account-based plays, joint events, and other partner-led programs, in collaboration with Partner, Sales, Product Marketing, and RevOps to improve visibility into account introductions, engagement, progression, and partner-sourced or partner-influenced pipeline, establishing repeatable approaches that scale as the partner ecosystem grows.
  • Work closely with BDR/SDR, Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Lifecycle, and other channel owners to ensure targeting, messaging, activation, and follow-up are connected. Define clear expectations for how campaign and account signals move into sales action, nurture, recycling, or continued marketing engagement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this Senior Global Demand Generation Manager role, you will bring a robust background in B2B SaaS demand generation, coupled with a strategic mindset and a proven ability to drive significant pipeline creation and revenue outcomes. Your expertise will span integrated marketing programs and account-based strategies, demonstrating a deep understanding of both Enterprise and Mid-Market demand motions.

  • Senior Professional and specialized level experience of B2B SaaS demand generation experience, with meaningful responsibility for pipeline creation and revenue outcomes.
  • Proven experience building and running integrated demand generation programs across multiple channels. An equivalent combination of education and / or experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise and Mid-Market demand motions and how they differ in targeting, engagement, sales alignment, and measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with account-based marketing, including segmentation, account selection, orchestration, activation, and measurement.
  • Experience using intent, engagement, or account intelligence platforms such as 6sense or equivalent technologies.
  • Partner marketing or ecosystem experience, ideally within strategic alliances, co-sell, technology partnerships, or ISV environments.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to distinguish activity from meaningful business impact.
  • Comfort operating in a changing environment, managing multiple priorities, and making thoughtful trade-offs based on business opportunity.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing team needs over individual needs.
