We are actively seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in the development of future Digital products for Rogers. Key Duties

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring our digital products meet both user needs and technical standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the technical roadmap for the Connected Home portfolio by understanding and influencing overall solution design to align with the channels strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owners and business stakeholders in analyzing and refining user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform comprehensive impact assessments on applications and processes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, collaborating with Architects, IT, and development teams to design complete, forward-looking end-to-end solutions.
  • Create, own, and maintain detailed functional, design, API, and Solution specifications that satisfy user requirements and adhere to development standards.
  • Assist with the implementation of new programs or systems into production environments.
  • Collaborate and provide oversight to Development, Quality Assurance (QA), and Business Readiness Testing (BRT) teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex changes in both agile and waterfall programs.
  • Provide post-implementation support and conduct reviews to ensure optimal performance and address any issues.
  • Communicate effectively through meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.
  • Take ownership for high-quality internal, external, ITS, and business unit stakeholder communications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of templates, procedures, and processes as part of continuous improvement and development initiatives.

What You'll Bring

To excel in this Senior Business Systems Analyst role and contribute to our innovative technology development, you will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably as a Business Systems Analyst, with proven experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Experience building scalable distributed systems with service-oriented architectures.
  • Proficiency in UML diagramming.
  • Experience in SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban preferred.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, logical summaries for audiences with varying levels of technical background.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple simultaneous tasks within a fast-paced, high-tech, customer service-oriented environment.
  • Superior skill set, including analytical thinking and problem-solving, presentation and facilitation, and relationship building.
  • Connected Home product knowledge in TV, Internet, Home Phone, and Smart Home Monitoring preferred.
