Responsibilities

Workers will handle various day-to-day nursery tasks to support healthy plant growth and operations:

• Prepare soil, plant bulbs or tubers, seeds and cuttings, and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings
• Monitor plants for healthy growth and potential weed, insect, disease, and fertilizer problems in greenhouse crops
• Position and regulate greenhouse and outdoor irrigation systems to water plants and fields
• Dig, cut and transplant trees, shrubs, flowers and plants and prepare them for shipping
• May operate tractors and other machinery and equipment to fertilize, cultivate, harvest and spray fields and plants
• Clean working areas and equipment

What is on offer

This seasonal opportunity runs from April 5, 2027, to September 24, 2027. Work schedules involve full-time hours totaling 35 to 50 hours per week, working 7 to 10 hours per day on early morning, morning, or day shifts. The position pays $15.90 per hour as a guaranteed minimum wage, with expected piece work earnings ranging between $18 and $24 per hour. Additionally, on-site accommodations are available if required.
