<h3>Key Responsibilities and Impact</h3> <p>In this challenging yet profoundly rewarding occupational therapy position, you will be responsible for assisting clients with a range of physical and/or cognitive disabilities, helping them to maximize their potential quality of life. Your duties will encompass conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing effective treatment plans, and providing expert consultations tailored to individual needs. A significant aspect of this position also includes directing, guiding, and evaluating Occupational Therapy students, thereby contributing meaningfully to the development of future health professionals within Saskatchewan. Travel is required for this role, enabling you to extend crucial therapy services to various locations within the region served by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. <h3>Qualifications and Application Details</h3> <p>To be successful in this pivotal occupational therapy position, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree. Registration or eligibility with both the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT) and the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists is also required. Furthermore, a valid Class 5 driver's license is essential, as travel is a required component of the role within Saskatchewan. Strong organizational skills, the ability to be innovative and creative, and effective verbal and written communication skills are highly valued. The successful candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours and independently, adapting to the diverse needs of our patients.
