As a Merchandising Associate with J.D. Irving, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience and helping to drive sales by improving and standardizing product presentation. You will be responsible for executing merchandising resets as guided by product planograms and other execution documents, ensuring that every product is displayed optimally. Your ability to support the roll-out of merchandising projects for various promotional spaces, including end caps and seasonal displays, will be vital to the business needs. Furthermore, you will ensure all displays are fully functional, clean, accurately priced, and well-stocked, contributing directly to sales. Regular travel between the Halifax and Lower Sackville locations, specifically to 888 Sackville Drive, is a core requirement, demonstrating your commitment to supporting the diverse needs of the business. Working hours are generally 6 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work to meet operational demands.
