Key Duties

As a Lumber Yard Associate with J.D. Irving in Clarenville, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of building materials throughout the yard and warehouse. • Inspect and maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company policy, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Receive and process inventory using the computerized system (D365), contributing to accurate stock levels.
• Maintain organized inventory and store standards, supporting merchandising efforts.
• Write off damaged or stolen products in the system to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently.
• Participate in department-specific training and continuously learn about new products.
