About the Opportunity at Later

Later, the world’s most intelligent influencer marketing company, is built to give brands the confidence to create unforgettable campaigns. By combining real creator relationships, trusted intelligence, and expert guidance, Later removes fear and guesswork from one of marketing’s most visible investments. This Influencer Development Specialist position is a creator-facing role at the heart of Later's creator monetization business, focused on moving creators through key activation milestones and driving measurable Commissionable GMV (CGMV) growth following every touchpoint.

You will operate within structured CRM pipelines, leveraging data, targeted outreach, and one-on-one conversations to turn leads into revenue-generating creators. This role is crucial for Later's continued expansion, including the development of new strategies to enhance platform adoption and revenue impact. You will partner closely with Campaigns, Lifecycle, and RevOps teams to align on creator opportunities and surface insights that shape platform and product strategy, ensuring sustained growth.

Driving Creator Activation and Growth

As an Influencer Development Specialist, you will manage a defined portfolio of creators within CRM pipelines, prioritizing high-impact opportunities for activation and growth, including assigned specialty segments. Your responsibilities will involve executing structured outreach sequences and targeted follow-ups to drive engagement, meetings booked, and platform activation. A key aspect of this role is maintaining strong CRM hygiene, ensuring accurate tracking of touchpoints, pipeline movement, and creator status across your book of business.

You will identify patterns in high-performing creators and replicate successful activation strategies across your pipeline to maximise impact. Furthermore, you will schedule and lead 1:1 calls with creators to drive activation, educate them on platform value, and share influencer monetization strategies, guiding them through key milestones such as link creation and early revenue generation. The ability to drive measurable CGMV growth following creator touchpoints by influencing platform usage and monetization behaviours is paramount, including continuous tracking and optimization of performance against core KPIs.

Essential Qualifications for this Role

To excel in this role, candidates should bring 2-4 years of experience in a client-facing, revenue-driving position such as Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success. Demonstrated ability to influence behaviour and drive outcomes through direct communication, including calls and email outreach, is essential. Experience working within a CRM, with HubSpot preferred, and managing a pipeline or book of business is also required.

A data-driven mindset, connecting actions to revenue outcomes and optimizing based on performance, is crucial for success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to build trust and communicate with clarity and empathy, are highly valued. A strong understanding of social media, affiliate marketing, and the creator ecosystem will be a significant asset, including an adaptable and highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the creator economy, influencer marketing, or affiliate platforms is a plus, further enhancing your ability to drive platform engagement and growth.
