About this opportunity

DoorDash is rapidly expanding its Canadian business, and this Engagement Manager Lead role is pivotal to its continued success. Based in Toronto, a key market known for innovation, you will join the Enterprise Post-sale and Partnerships team, focusing on critical merchant relationships. This position offers a unique chance to shape the strategic vision and drive growth for DoorDash's largest restaurant groups and product verticals across North America.

As an Engagement Manager Lead on the Enterprise team, you will deepen partnerships with Canada’s most strategically important merchants. Your responsibilities include owning and growing a subset of these large enterprise merchant partnerships, while also directly managing a select number of account managers within the team. This fixed-term assignment, expected to last 18 months, is crucial for the rollout of new brand partnerships, expanding existing DoorDash merchant accounts through new products and stores, and collaborating closely with marketing and product teams to achieve significant growth.

Key duties

  • Develop and grow a high-performing team of salespeople and relationship managers, including direct reports.
  • Own, develop, and foster strategic merchant partnerships to drive sales growth across various levers such as marketing, store count, product, and operations.
  • Cultivate merchant relationships with C-suite executives, as well as strategy, marketing, and operations leads, ensuring a best-in-class partnership experience.
  • Work cross-functionally, serving as the liaison between DoorDash partnerships and DoorDash leadership, marketing, product, operations, and other functional teams.
  • Leverage playbooks, tools, and internal resources to ensure merchants receive a high-quality experience on DoorDash, actively resolving roadblocks and enhancing operational efficiency.
