Your Impact and Key Responsibilities

In this role, your impact will be significant as you design comprehensive electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data, and security, for various building types across BC and the Yukon. You will be instrumental in developing electrical BIM models, collaborating closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure integrated and efficient designs. Your responsibilities will also include preparing detailed drawings, technical documentation, and specifications that support successful project delivery. A key aspect of your work will involve applying the BC Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, and other relevant standards to ensure all designs are compliant and of the highest quality. You will complete system calculations and modelling using industry-standard tools, participate in construction reviews, and contribute to construction-phase coordination and administration. Furthermore, you will help project teams through timely communication, client coordination, and documentation, contributing to project tracking, quality assurance, and other team processes that drive successful outcomes.
