The Affiliate Account Manager plays a critical role in driving client success and campaign excellence across Later's brand partnerships. As the primary liaison between brands and internal teams, this position ensures seamless onboarding, strategic execution, and high-touch support that consistently exceeds client expectations. By managing everything from tracking and reporting to paid placements and performance optimisation, the Account Manager directly contributes to client satisfaction and revenue growth, delivering actionable insights that inform future strategies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This role involves a dynamic mix of strategic planning, technical execution, collaborative teamwork, and continuous research to ensure optimal campaign performance for clients.
- Collaborate with clients and internal sales teams to develop and refine campaign strategies that align with performance goals.
- Provide data-backed insights and recommendations based on performance trends and industry benchmarks.
- Optimise affiliate marketing initiatives by analysing campaign outcomes and adjusting approaches as needed.
- Collaborate on strategic conversations with stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Oversee affiliate onboarding execution, including updating commissions, managing tracking links, and auditing brand cards for accuracy.
- Execute end-to-end management of paid placements, ensuring timely submission of assets and seamless delivery.
- Manage affiliate email inbox and route inquiries to ensure fast and accurate resolution.
- Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc performance reports for clients and internal teams.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for internal teams, brands, networks, and agencies to ensure all brand partnerships are performing at a high level.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and data teams to align on campaign goals and execution.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and ensure campaign milestones are met collaboratively.
- Lead client calls and internal meetings to align on brand onboarding progress, troubleshoot issues, and share performance updates.
- Stay up to date on influencer marketing trends, emerging platforms, and affiliate marketing best practices.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify innovative tactics to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Share relevant insights with clients to inform strategy and maximise performance.
- Use market research to inform strategic planning and provide clients with proactive recommendations.

- 3–5 years of experience in account management, ideally within the affiliate or influencer marketing space.
- Previous experience working with leading affiliate agencies or networks such as CJ, Rakuten, and Impact is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive affiliate success through strategic planning and proactive client management.
- History of meeting or exceeding performance KPIs through well-executed marketing initiatives.
- Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Proficient with affiliate marketing platforms, campaign tracking tools, and analytics dashboards.

Later takes a market-based and data-driven approach to compensation, leveraging trusted third-party sources to understand market value based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. Compensation is evaluated bi-annually, considering performance and market-related factors. Salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of the job posting.
