Key Duties

As a Community Manager at Later, your responsibilities will include leading the creation and execution of best-in-class, social-first content, alongside fostering vibrant online communities. You will be instrumental in shaping the social media presence for our clients.

  • Own and execute best-in-class, social-first content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Concept and ideate creatively against briefs, bringing bold ideas to life that feel native to each platform.
  • Lead and execute social media shoots, from pre-production through to post-production.
  • Act fast and pivot quickly, demonstrating resourcefulness and ensuring no trending moment is missed.
  • Monitor trends, memes, and cultural moments to engage in real-time with brand-appropriate responses.
  • Engage and grow our community by responding in various brand voices, tapping into culture, and building strong relationships with our audience.
  • Partner with internal influencer teams to create seamless campaigns that integrate both social media and influencer strategies.
  • Lead and manage the success and outcomes for all customers under your oversight by establishing and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to brainstorm and produce innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.

Requirements

We are looking for a creative and collaborative individual who is passionate about storytelling and visual content. The ideal Community Manager will be a trend-chaser and trendsetter, comfortable both on and off camera, and capable of embodying multiple brand personas.

  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Community Manager or a similar role, with a strong focus on content creation and community engagement.
  • Proven track record of independently managing and growing a social media presence for a large B2C brand.
  • Must have previous agency experience managing client accounts.
  • Excellent content creation skills, including exceptional writing and editing, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences.
  • Comfortable digging into performance data and analysis, using insights to adjust strategy and report on overall impact.
  • A natural desire to be active on social media is essential; we are looking for candidates who live and breathe social media trends.
  • Ability to think creatively and generate innovative content ideas.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
