As an Account Executive at Later, you will play a pivotal role in building and growing revenue-driving relationships with mid-market and enterprise brands and agencies. This is a unique opportunity to combine consultative solution selling with deep knowledge of the influencer and creator economy, helping clients unlock the full potential of Later’s comprehensive platform and services. This role is equal parts hunter and farmer, focusing on new client acquisition while expanding and strengthening existing partnerships.
Day-to-Day
Your responsibilities will span strategic planning, technical execution, team collaboration, and continuous research to drive success in the dynamic world of influencer marketing and social media:
- Develop and execute a targeted strategy to acquire new mid-market and enterprise accounts while growing wallet share within existing clients.
- Position Later as a trusted, data-driven partner in influencer marketing, creator commerce, and social media.
- Use market insights and client feedback to influence go-to-market and product strategies.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify high-potential brands and agencies.
- Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover client needs and align Later’s solutions.
- Deliver compelling platform demos and customised proposals that highlight Later’s AI- and data-powered offerings.
- Negotiate, close, and expand revenue opportunities across both new and existing accounts.
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, ensuring forecasting accuracy and operational excellence.
- Partner with Marketing, Strategy, and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless client experience across the full lifecycle.
- Share client insights and industry trends to help evolve Later’s product roadmap and services.
- Contribute to building sales playbooks, best practices, and innovative approaches that raise team performance.
- Stay ahead of trends in influencer marketing, creator commerce, and digital advertising.
- Leverage Later’s AI and data capabilities to provide clients with measurable recommendations and outcomes.
- Continuously refine sales strategies and processes to increase efficiency and impact.

Later takes a market-based and data-driven approach to compensation, leveraging trusted third-party sources to determine market value based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. Compensation is evaluated bi-annually, considering performance and market-related factors.
Salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the job posting's geographic location. This role's compensation is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus commission/variable components. Additionally, all permanent team members are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
