About the Role
Sleep Country Canada is seeking a Delivery Manager, Digital & Data to play a critical role in driving the successful end-to-end delivery of digital and data initiatives. This position ensures projects are completed on time, effectively manages dependencies and risks, and coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will own and drive end-to-end delivery execution across digital and data initiatives, ensuring committed work is completed and delivery timelines are met. You will manage and track cross-team dependencies, risks, and issues across Digital, Data/BI, APIs, and external vendors. This includes coordinating cross-functional teams, such as Digital, Data Engineering, BI, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and delivery progress. Providing clear, accurate, and timely status reporting to stakeholders and leadership, including progress, risks, and mitigation plans, is also a key aspect of this position. You will identify, escalate, and remove blockers impacting delivery across internal teams and external partners, and facilitate delivery planning and execution practices like planning sessions and progress check-ins to support team alignment and momentum. Finally, you will support the continuous improvement of delivery processes, tools, and team effectiveness across multiple workstreams.
What You'll Bring
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Data, or a related field. You will bring 6 to 8 years of experience in delivering technology, digital, or data initiatives within complex environments, demonstrating strong experience managing delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives. A strong command of delivery frameworks, including Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional PMO methodologies, is essential, with the ability to apply the right approach based on initiative complexity and business context. Experience operating within or alongside a PMO, including governance, status reporting, risk/issue management, and executive-level communications, is also required. Proven ability to manage cross-team dependencies and complex delivery environments, along with experience working with digital platforms (eCommerce) and data/reporting initiatives, is highly valued. The role requires the ability to coordinate internal teams and external vendors effectively, strong risk identification, escalation, and problem-solving skills, and excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. You must be able to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities, and have experience with delivery and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar. The ability to drive accountability and execution across teams without direct authority is crucial. Please note, knowledge of English is required for this specific position as the incumbent will interact on a consistent and regular basis with English-speaking stakeholders located outside of Québec.
