What You'll Do
- Run linehaul routes within the Maritimes, connecting rail yards, customers, and Midland Terminals.
- Deliver freight to assigned locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Offload variable shipment weights and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate the tractor trailer in strict accordance with safety regulations, company rules, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the truck operation.
- Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damage in a timely manner.
