What You'll Do

• Run linehaul routes within the Maritimes, connecting rail yards, customers, and Midland Terminals.
• Deliver freight to assigned locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Offload variable shipment weights and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to prevent damage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate the tractor trailer in strict accordance with safety regulations, company rules, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damage in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
• Familiarity with satellite systems.
• Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and proven reliability.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. using proper equipment.
• Highly safety conscious.
