About the Opportunity at DoorDash
DoorDash is committed to growing and empowering local economies by building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology. The company connects people with local businesses, fostering community growth. This Associate Manager role sits at the intersection of growth, brand, and operations, focusing on developing integrated marketing strategies that consistently deliver value for DashPass members. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in deepening DashPass member engagement across Canada, ensuring a best-in-class subscription experience. This involves leveraging insights to craft consumer-first strategies for member retention and engagement, collaborating closely with various teams to meet members' needs, and maximizing DoorDash's value from partner relationships to drive business forward.
Key Responsibilities and Impact
As an Associate Manager, you will act as the central link between diverse marketing teams, including Lifecycle, Media, and Creative Studio, as well as Strategy & Operations, Product, Finance, and Analytics. Your primary goal will be to build and execute integrated marketing campaigns specifically for DashPass Canada. A significant part of this role involves strengthening the membership experience by partnering with Lifecycle, Operations, and Product teams to create compelling member experiences and demonstrate the inherent value of DashPass membership. You will also be instrumental in driving key strategic partnerships that fuel DashPass member growth and deliver meaningful value to members across Canada. Identifying and executing opportunities to increase DashPass subscriber retention is crucial, as is establishing marketing's role in bringing more value to our members. This position requires creating processes where none exist for key DashPass initiatives, streamlining operations, and fostering a productive team culture. You will drive quarterly marketing goals and KPIs, contributing to reporting to track progress in partnership with Analytics, S&O, and channel teams. Leading cross-functional meetings and owning end-to-end project trackers will be essential to rally key stakeholders towards shared objectives. Furthermore, establishing a reporting cadence across performance and retention campaigns, while driving action plans to grow the paid subscriber balance and reduce churn quarter over quarter, is a core expectation. Identifying gaps in consumer insights and creating testing plans in partnership with Marketing Insights and Research teams, alongside developing positioning and messaging frameworks for lifecycle audiences and establishing testing plans to optimize DashPass value propositions for higher conversion rates, completes the comprehensive scope of this impactful role.
What DoorDash Looks For

The ideal candidate will possess an extraordinary bias for action, proving dependable, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking effectively.
