About this opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join the Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto as a full-time, three-year contractually limited term appointment (CLTA) in the teaching stream. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027. Key duties
The successful candidate will be assigned a comprehensive teaching and service load within the Department of Chemistry. Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching and coordinating analytical chemistry courses at the undergraduate levels.
- Delivering both lecture and laboratory components of these courses as required.
- Conducting ongoing course and curriculum development for assigned courses.
- Engaging in the renewal of lecture and laboratory materials to ensure up-to-date and impactful pedagogical approaches.
Qualifications
