Role Overview
The University of Toronto and St. Michael's Hospital, part of Unity Health Toronto, are actively seeking a dedicated full-time Academic Geriatrician. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both clinical care and academic excellence within the esteemed Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medicine. As a Clinician Teacher (CT), the successful candidate will hold a full-time clinical academic appointment at the University of Toronto, with the rank of Lecturer or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, commencing February 1, 2027, or soon after. This position is integral to supporting the significant demands for geriatric medicine services across St. Michael's Hospital and Providence Healthcare in downtown Toronto.

- Hold an MD degree.

- Participate actively in the educational programs in Geriatric Medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital, Providence Healthcare, and the University of Toronto.
- Collaborate in clinical research and quality improvement programs.
- Support the large in-patient and out-patient demands at St. Michael’s Hospital and Providence Healthcare.
- Have the opportunity to further support clinical and educational programs at Providence Healthcare - Unity Health Toronto.
