As a Store Manager, you will be at the forefront of the Wetaskiwin store's operations, directly supervising and developing both the management and broader store team. Your primary focus will be to lead, manage, and ensure the maximization of sales growth within your store. You will also hold accountability for loss prevention processes, including participation in prevention strategies and investigations.

Key Duties

The Store Manager at JYSK plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day success and strategic direction of the Wetaskiwin store. Key responsibilities for this manager position include:

• Setting strategies, sales goals, and targets for the store and creating a communication plan to present to teams at GSM’s
• Ensuring store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
• Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
• Accountability for store recruitment and building a high-performance team in the store.
• Physical demands that are required include mobility (walking, standing, climbing, bending, etc.) and manual material handling (lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, etc.).
• Movement of product by use of ladders and stock pickers is required.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• 2 years experience in retail management and customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
