Details

As a Senior Electrical Technologist, your expertise will be instrumental in developing comprehensive technical studies, creating precise electrical drawings, and defining robust system specifications for both naval and commercial vessels. This includes the critical task of selecting and integrating equipment across diverse electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will perform in-depth analyses of power and communication systems, including complex voltage drop and short-circuit current calculations. A key aspect of this role involves preparing clear, detailed reports to support sound engineering recommendations and informed decision-making. Furthermore, you will be responsible for integrating crucial engineering changes into existing ship designs, meticulously ensuring both regulatory compliance and overall system integrity. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is fundamental to successfully executing complex systems integration projects across the fleet.
