About the Opportunity with MEDFAR Clinical Solutions
MEDFAR Clinical Solutions is seeking a dedicated Sales Development Representative to join their growing team in Ontario. This pivotal role is instrumental in the business development and sale of MYLE, MEDFAR's advanced electronic medical record (EMR) system, to front-line healthcare establishments across Canada. As the first sales team member based in the Ottawa region, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to supporting the strong growth of MEDFAR and the success of MYLE in Ontario. This position offers a unique chance to contribute significantly to the company's organic growth, focusing primarily on the Ontario Health East region, which includes the greater Ottawa region. Your efforts will directly impact the adoption of efficient medical technology, enhancing healthcare delivery across the province. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with proven sales experience to make a tangible difference in the medical sector.
Key Responsibilities and Desired Experience
In this dynamic Sales Development Representative position, your main responsibilities will involve establishing communication with first-line healthcare establishments to present MEDFAR's comprehensive range of products. You will travel to clinics throughout Ontario to meet potential clients, showcasing the robust functionalities of the MYLE application. A crucial aspect of this role is participating in the development of your assigned territory, analyzing new sales and upsell opportunities, and coordinating product demonstrations for potential users. Collaboration with the internal team and Sales Manager on various projects aimed at optimizing sales and maintaining a competitive edge is also key. Ensuring customer follow-ups and bridging communication gaps with the internal team will be vital. Ideally, candidates will possess a university degree in business administration, communication, or a related discipline, coupled with 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience. Proven prospecting and market penetration experience, particularly within a similar sector, is considered a significant asset. A strong interest and passion for sales, determination, and ease in establishing good client relationships quickly are essential. Knowledge of Ontario's provincial health system, experience as a Medical Office Assistant (MOA), or marketing experience, along with familiarity with Salesforce software, will further strengthen your application for this development-focused role.

This role requires extensive travel, with commuting to clients' offices 3-4 days per week within the Ontario Health East region, including the greater Ottawa region. Candidates must have a car and a valid driver's license. Compensation includes a competitive salary based on experience, commission, a cell allowance, and car mileage reimbursement. At MEDFAR, the culture promotes efficiency and excellence in healthcare through the most efficient electronic medical record on the market. Joining MEDFAR means working in a dynamic, multicultural environment where trust, innovation, quality, and customer success are paramount.
