This opportunity challenges you to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain an exceptionally high quality of work. You will gain valuable knowledge through mentorship and continuous skills development, fast-tracking your professional growth towards potentially achieving a PMP designation. Nous sommes à la recherche d'une personne ambitieuse pour renforcer notre équipe. This pivotal position involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of Project Managers, Engineers, Planners, Designers, and Contract Administrators, including sub-consultants and other staff as required for various project initiatives. Your impact will be significant in implementing and executing robust project controls plans, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements for each project. You will be instrumental in supporting baseline budgets and work breakdown structures to effectively manage both hours and expenditures. This project role offers a chance to make a tangible difference in shaping communities.

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills

The Project Controls Analyst is expected to act as a crucial liaison between Project Controls and other project disciplines, facilitating seamless communication and coordination. A core responsibility is the timely identification, notification, resolution, and recording of deviations from the current plan, including items that have the potential for future impact within the project scope. You will convey a deep understanding of project evolution, serving as a preventative mechanism against unforeseen cost and schedule impacts. Implementing and executing effective methods of progress measurement, tailored to the size and complexity of each project, is also a key duty. Managing the financial health of the project, including comprehensive variance reporting for both schedule and cost, falls under your purview. This role also involves preparing project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, scheduling, cost plans, quality plans, and change management plans. Furthermore, you will organize billing drafts, compile monthly invoices, and follow up for approval and payment, while also managing sub-consultant receivables. Preparation and coordination of monthly progress reports are essential for keeping all stakeholders informed. To excel in these responsibilities, candidates must possess a post-secondary diploma or degree, with a preference for project management, finance, or business disciplines. A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required, with previous experience in the engineering industry considered a valuable asset. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for continuous interaction with team members, alongside excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
