Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Principal Product Manager, your daily activities will involve a blend of strategic planning, user engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered assistance and automation experiences.
- Lead AI-first solution innovation by identifying where generative AI, intelligent assistants, predictive recommendations, automation, and agentic experiences can transform the way employees, developers and IT admins accomplish work.
- Gather user insights through research, feedback, usage data, and direct engagement, and turn them into a clear, prioritized set of opportunities.
- Translate customer needs into meaningful product capabilities, requirements, and a well-sequenced roadmap.
- Partner closely across many different product teams across M365 and Power platform to align on shared experiences, dependencies, and a consistent end-to-end journey for users.
- Partner deeply with engineering, design, research, and business executives to bring end-to-end product experiences from concept to launch and ongoing iteration.
- Work closely with engineering and service engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable capabilities and to keep them healthy in production.
- Communicate direction, progress, and results clearly to partners and leadership, and build alignment across a broad set of stakeholders.
- Mentor peers and raise the craft of product management across the team.

- Tenured experience in product management, program management, engineering, or a related discipline, with a record of leading complex product portfolios or platforms.
- Demonstrated success defining vision, shaping strategy, and delivering products or platforms that drive measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Knowledge of current product management practices, including product discovery, experimentation, customer research, prioritization frameworks, product analytics, and outcome-based road-mapping.
- Experience with AI-powered, assistance, or automation experiences.
- Effective communication and cross-team leadership in a large, matrixed organization.
