Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise

This management role demands a comprehensive understanding of equipment and systems operations within a critical environment. You will serve as an operations specialist, guiding and coaching your team through inspections of critical environment-related facility equipment, including controls, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and various mechanical systems. Monitoring the performance of maintenance and operations through telemetry and control systems is a core responsibility, requiring the identification of all alarms and prompt, safe incident response. Utilising internal computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track equipment assets and manage work orders is also required. Your experience will be essential in leading onsite incident response teams for abnormal conditions impacting operations, coordinating with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs. Furthermore, you will enhance, develop, or follow existing emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in relation to incidents, gathering necessary data for root-cause analyses and action items. This role is fundamental to maintaining the continuous and reliable operations of Microsoft's vital data infrastructure.

Team Leadership and Maintenance Oversight
