As an AI Business Process Specialist focused on Financial Services, you will work closely with leading organizations to understand their operational challenges and design solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

This role involves leading consultative engagements, orchestrating cross-functional collaboration, and guiding customers through the adoption of Microsoft’s comprehensive solution portfolio, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, ERP, and AI Agent capabilities. These solutions are tailored to the specific needs of banking, insurance, wealth, payments, and capital markets teams serving Canadian customers. What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will span customer engagement, sales and pipeline management, and strategic sales development, all aimed at driving digital transformation within the financial services sector.

  • Assess and qualify sales opportunities using AI-enhanced sales methodologies, contributing to strategy development for moderately complex, significant value opportunities.
  • Collaborate across various internal organizations (e.g., Account Team Unit [ATU], CSU, ISD, GPS) to orchestrate deals and manage handoffs throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Utilize best practices to earn customer buy-in, secure deals, and mitigate risks, ensuring successful sales activities across the solution area.
  • Drive sales strategies tailored to each customer's security priorities, showcasing Microsoft's dedication to secure, AI-powered transformation and addressing specific needs within the customer success plan.
  • Review and translate customer and partner feedback to establish recovery action plans and develop relationships with key customer and partner stakeholders to understand sentiment and satisfaction goals.
  • Activate partner teams, resources, and relationships, driving co-selling strategies and partner attach to each opportunity through every stage in the sales lifecycle.
  • Analyze business and emerging opportunities to improve the customer portfolio and encourage customer innovation, leveraging technology like AI sales agents, automation, and Power Platforms to drive growth.
  • Utilize propensity, renewal, consumption, and usage data to prioritize sales strategy and optimize partners assigned to each account and/or opportunity.
  • Engage in sales pipeline reviews with internal stakeholders to drive forecasting accuracy and meet sales targets, using AI-powered analytics and forecasting tools.
  • Maintain sales and/or consumption pipeline hygiene to track assigned sales metrics and actively monitor adoption trends, identifying opportunities for intervention to ensure customers realize the value of solutions purchased.
  • Evaluate solution area(s) and the market to align sales plays with customer business priorities and outcomes, incorporating AI-driven predictive analytics.
  • Partner across teams to propose solutions and strategies that align with customer business objectives, identifying and addressing gaps to drive market engagement and sales execution.
  • Support the development of solutions for AI- and cloud-driven transformations for existing and new customers, emphasizing cutting-edge AI technologies and cloud services.
  • Participate in conversations with customers to distinguish Microsoft’s offerings in the competitive landscape, serving as a trusted advisor to guide technology and solution adoption.
  • Leverage whitespace analysis and partner with others to identify business opportunities and market gaps within the assigned market domain, utilizing AI-driven market intelligence tools.
  • Lead discussions with customer stakeholders and decision makers to identify, qualify, prioritize, and accelerate sales opportunities, acting as a point of contact for customer success.
  • Engage with account teams to align the customer's artificial intelligence (AI) transformation vision with their business priorities and success objectives, reinforcing security principles in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.

Additional qualifications that are highly valued include:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field AND 8+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of solution or services sales experience.
