This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Projects Lead Engineer to join our Buildings team in Vancouver, BC. In this pivotal role, you will bring your technical expertise and project leadership to bear on meaningful projects that directly influence the built environment. You will lead electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery, driving excellence, collaboration, and innovation within a dynamic team.

Your Impact

  • Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.
  • Manage project scope, resources, and client expectations while proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee design development for power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, and building systems integration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-performing building solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to repeat business and project growth.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and sustainability objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery processes and technical excellence.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with progressive experience in building systems design.
  • Proven experience managing or supporting project delivery, including schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia (or eligibility).
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards applicable to buildings.
  • Experience with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and power system analysis software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to obtain Enhanced Reliability Security clearance is required.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and delivering client-focused solutions.
