Role Overview

Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this vital Microsoft role, candidates are required to possess a High School Qualification or equivalent combined with at least three years of experience in mission-critical service management, such as providing IT services or managing physical operations within an IT or critical environment infrastructure. Alternatively, equivalent experience will be considered. A minimum of three years’ experience managing physical operations in an IT and/or Critical Environment infrastructure is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in a related field and eight or more years of experience in critical environment infrastructures or physical IT infrastructures, or ten years of experience with a High School Qualification. One or more years of people management experience is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of audit and compliance requirements in a large global enterprise, along with strong problem-solving and data analysis skills, are beneficial. Applicable certifications such as APICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certifications, Leadership Development Certifications, and PMP are also preferred. Applicants must meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including the ability to obtain Reliability Status screening from the Government of Canada, which typically requires five years of continuous Canadian residency.
