Key Responsibilities and Impact

This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of managed customer contracted requirements related to operational performance and deliverables, as well as internal infrastructure and inter-networking relationships. You will be responsible for the daily management of customer requests, preparing and implementing crucial changes for security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and identity access management tools. A significant part of your contribution will involve reviewing and interpreting security alerts, providing diagnostics for incident management to support clients effectively. Depending on the nature of security threats, you will proceed with appropriate mitigation measures, ensuring customers are informed and their information is protected. Configuring, installing, managing, and maintaining security devices, along with providing general information and recommendations on security best practices, are also core aspects of this position. Qualifications and Experience Required

To excel in this Cyber Security Consultant II role, candidates must possess critical qualifications including the completion of a university or college program in Computer Science, or at least five years of equivalent industry experience in the information systems field. Demonstrated experience in implementing and troubleshooting security solutions, encompassing authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit capabilities as part of overall system design, is required. Practical experience in the implementation, daily management, and troubleshooting of firewalls from multiple vendors, along with maintaining and deploying SDWAN solutions, is essential.
