About the Opportunity
The Michener Institute of Education at UHN is seeking a dedicated Associate Professor for its Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program in Toronto, Ontario. The incumbent will teach across various subject areas within the MRI program, actively engaging in continuous quality improvement based on student feedback and adapting teaching methods to support student engagement. Essential Qualifications and Attributes
To excel in this Associate Professor role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Sciences or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from an accredited institution is essential, coupled with a minimum of five years of clinical experience as a certified MRI technologist. Previous CT experience is considered an asset. Applicants must be registered in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and ideally hold current membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS). Demonstrated experience in teaching or clinical education, preferably in a post-secondary or healthcare setting, is required, along with training and experience in adult education and proficiency in diverse teaching methods, including hybrid learning.
