Key Responsibilities and Professional Development The core duties for this Agri Inspector position involve performing visual observations and sampling of various commodity materials found in rail cars, containers, and vessels, adhering to specified methodologies. You will coordinate and communicate effectively with terminal, transport, and Company personnel to ensure the smooth execution of all assigned duties. This role also encompasses monitoring the availability of necessary supplies, conducting routine equipment calibration, verification, and function checks, and organising jobs for timely service delivery and sample submission. While the Inspector position typically carries no formal personnel authority, a designated Lead Inspector assumes supervisory responsibility where applicable. Furthermore, an Inspector holds supervisory authority in the valuable training of less experienced employees, contributing to the growth of our people. Accurate reporting and verification of results, along with diligent record-keeping, are paramount.
