Key Duties

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist focusing on campus recruitment, you will be instrumental in attracting, hiring, and developing top emerging talent at Definity. This role involves leading full-cycle campus recruitment efforts and managing key early talent programs, ensuring an exceptional experience for students and stakeholders alike.

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for co-op, internship, and entry-level opportunities across the organization.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Facilitate interviews, extend offers, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage recruitment activity and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and execution of campus recruitment programs and annual hiring cycles.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, academic partners, and student groups.
  • Facilitate monthly co-op huddles and engagement sessions to foster connection, development, and knowledge sharing across the student community.
  • Coordinate student engagement initiatives, including volunteer opportunities, networking events, and social activities.
  • Support co-op onboarding, performance management, and student development programs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide guidance on campus hiring best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders and internal partners.
  • Lead and support projects that enhance campus recruitment programs and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, stakeholder experience, and candidate outcomes.
  • Track recruitment metrics and leverage data to inform decisions and program enhancements.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, campus events, career fairs, and recruitment marketing activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring a solid foundation in talent acquisition and a passion for early talent development. Your experience in managing recruitment cycles and building strong relationships will be key to your success.

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Campus Recruitment, Early Talent Programs, or Human Resources.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and partnering with business leaders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading initiatives and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
