As a Solution Engineering Manager for AI Business Solutions, you will lead and develop a team of expert solution engineers. Your team will be instrumental in bringing Microsoft Dynamics 365 to life for our customers across key areas like Sales & Services, Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), and ERP with Finance & Operations (F&O). This role demands ownership of the technical win strategy for your assigned territory, coaching your team to deliver compelling demonstrations and articulate clear business value. You will partner closely with sales leadership to convert qualified pipeline into lasting customer outcomes, expanding your leadership scope and deepening your expertise in business applications and AI. What You'll Do

In this dynamic engineering leadership role, you will guide your team to achieve significant customer and business impact. Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and lead a diverse, high-performing solution engineering team focused on demonstrating solution capabilities, addressing technical proof requirements, and securing customer solution design endorsement.
• Partner with Account Planning teams to identify, qualify, and accelerate opportunities aligned with product categories, solution plays, and customer priorities.
• Increase deal velocity by assessing the progress of customer engagements at relevant stages and by orchestrating your team and partners.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Specialist Managers to optimize opportunity coordination and impact across teams.
• Enable your team to showcase Microsoft's value by highlighting innovations, envisioning solutions, assessing value, and building key customer relationships.
• Hire and retain top presales talent, ensuring the team can deliver customer-centric solution demonstrations with robust solution architecture and competitive objection handling.
• Guide the formalization of customer proposals and collaborate with Partners and Customer Success to align on agreed-upon deployment plans and Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements

To excel in this Solution Engineering Manager position, candidates should possess a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and business acumen. The required and preferred qualifications are outlined below:

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
• OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
• OR a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field AND 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
• OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience.
• Expert understanding and 1-2 years’ experience leading technical sellers in one of the following industries: Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, and/or Government, including the security, regulatory, and compliance needs of global customers.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications, including ERP and Finance & Operations (F&O), Sales & Services, and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), and how they translate into business impact and Commercial cloud offerings, including Microsoft’s cloud platform, competitors, and related ecosystems.
• Proficiency in business value selling methodologies, practices, and technologies that strategically determine and drive complex customer-relevant technical solutions (e.g., Design Thinking, Business Value Engineering, Challenger sales etc.).
• 3+ years of people management experience, including leading virtual and diverse teams.
