At WSP, we are looking for a Site Inspector to join our team in Thornhill, Ontario. This role offers the chance to apply your construction and contract administration expertise to impactful infrastructure projects.
You will support multidisciplinary teams, contribute to project delivery excellence, and help shape sustainable communities across Canada.
This is an opportunity to redefine what's possible with a global leader in engineering, advisory, and science-based expertise.
Your Contributions
As a Site Inspector, you will support construction oversight activities on active project sites, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to design intent.
Your responsibilities will include conducting field reviews, collecting data, tracking progress, and preparing site inspection reports to support project documentation and client communication.
You will apply your contract administration skills by reviewing contractor submissions, supporting change management, tracking deliverables, and ensuring all contract requirements are met.
Collaboration with engineers and project managers will be key to resolving site issues, proposing solutions, and maintaining smooth project execution.
You will also assist in preparing technical memos, progress updates, and verification documents for construction-phase services, contributing to projects that improve transportation networks, municipal infrastructure, and community-serving assets.
What You'll Bring
We are seeking candidates with experience as a construction technician, civil technician, or an equivalent technical role.
A strong working knowledge of contract administration is essential, including RFIs, change orders, progress tracking, and documentation protocols.
Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, field data collection applications, and general construction documentation systems is required.
You must be comfortable working outdoors on active project sites and able to meet all safety requirements.
An understanding of construction materials, drawings, and standard methods used in municipal and transportation projects is expected.
A commitment to delivering work that supports clients, communities, and sustainable infrastructure outcomes is highly valued.
A valid driver's licence is necessary as you will regularly travel to client sites, primarily within the Greater Toronto Area.
