As a Global Procurement Specialist, Professional Services, you will play a key role in supporting global procurement activities related to professional services categories, including legal, financial, and consulting services. Working closely with global procurement management and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to cost savings, operational efficiency, and responsible procurement outcomes, while supporting digital procurement processes and ESG commitments within WSP's global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and conduct procurement exercises (RFx), analysing supplier proposals to support informed supplier selection decisions. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on defined commercial, operational, and compliance criteria.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with potential and existing suppliers, supporting contract development and documentation within procurement systems. Maintain accurate supplier records, performance indicators, and ensure adherence to contractual terms, escalating issues as needed.
Ensure procurement activities comply with organisational policies, ESG standards, and regulatory requirements, including monitoring and reporting on assigned supplier ESG compliance. Utilise digital procurement platforms to manage procurement activities, support reporting and analysis, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide procurement updates, and support presentations and reports. Analyse spend data, prepare cost analyses, track savings, and ensure purchase order accuracy to support financial and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Four to seven years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations, including category management experience.
A strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration in professional services environments. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret supplier data, spend trends, and market intelligence.
Strong attention to detail, particularly for documentation management, compliance, and procurement systems. Digital literacy with e-sourcing platforms, procurement systems, and analytics or reporting tools.
An understanding of ESG principles, sustainable development, and ethical procurement practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory).

Compensation: For AB, BC, NT, NU, SK, and YT, the salary range is $89,800 to $118,900. For MB and ON, it is $81,900 to $112,800. For NB, NL, NS, PE, and QC, the range is $81,100 to $107,700. The final salary awarded for this position may vary from the above range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and operational or organisational needs. The salary range indicated in this job offer may be subject to change for operational purposes.
