Senior Security Service Manager - CIBC, Toronto

Responsibilities

As a Senior Security Service Manager within CIBC's CyberSecurity service management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and effectiveness of our security services. This involves collaborating with various internal teams to define and maintain requirements, monitor service health, and lead projects that enhance our security posture. Your expertise will be vital in adapting to emerging trends and technology to continuously improve our information security landscape.

• Maintain and enhance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) services, developing roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders across the bank.
• Facilitate input across the organisation to ensure all perspectives are considered when solutioning for enterprise-wide security projects.
• Execute on Data Loss Prevention Security projects, providing governance and oversight, including managing the total cost of operations.
• Drive and support continuous improvement of network security capabilities by leading a working group of subject matter experts.
• Manage centralised reporting of key processes to ensure their effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with management objectives.
• Communicate analysis, interpretation, strategy, and execution of projects within Information Security and CIBC, providing solutions for existing and future risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with important internal stakeholders, especially leaders of technology and business groups impacted by cyber security controls.
• Gain and maintain executive support for the network security program through business cases and presentations to senior management.
• Take a consultative approach to checking Information Security control use and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to monitor the threat environment.
• Analyse trends in information security and perform benchmarking against external organisations through participation in external thought forums.

• A CISSP or similar certification is considered an asset.
