Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in the 1B Senior Mental Health Unit, you will be responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of nursing care for complex mental health patients. This role requires sound assessment skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively in various situations. You will work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Familiarity with various computerised programmes such as Outlook and EPIC is also important.
What You'll Bring
Candidates must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse and be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses. A minimum of one year of acute Mental Health Inpatient experience is required. We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual who can thrive as part of a diverse work team. Effective interpersonal and organisational skills combined with sound patient care nursing skills are essential. A positive work and attendance record, along with excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act, are also necessary. Availability to work alternate weekends is a requirement.
